Within activities of Ukraine regional support office of UN-SPIDER programme was predicted yield of winter wheat for all regions of Ukraine.
On images (A) and (B) predictions based on TERRA MODIS MOD13 product are shown for 08.05.2013 and 23.05.2013 respectively.
Due to the dry weather in the southern regions of Ukraine in the last two weeks, there drying crops, which is reflected in the forecast for 23.05.2013. Difference between forecasts built on 08.05.2012 and 23.05.2013 is shown on image (C)
