On April 6, 2010 work group meeting on establishment and maintenance of UN-SPIDER programme regional support office in Ukraine took place at the Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU.

The participants were representatives of  SRI NASU-NSAU, Ministry of emergency situations, National Space Agency of Ukraine, Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center , Institute of cybernetics NASU, Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute NASU, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Institute for Information Recording.
