On March 4, 2010 the first inter-branch meeting on establishment and maintenance of UN-SPIDER programme regional support office in Ukraine took place at the Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU.

After getting information on agreement signed by the United Nations Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and the Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU, meeting members have decided:

1. to approve establishment of a Regional Support Office (RSO) UN-SPIDER Programme at the Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU
2. to establish a working group with representatives from all interested ministries and agencies for coordination RSO activities
3. All proposals about representation in working group should be send to the Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU Point of Contact till March 31, 2010.
4. to charge Space Research Institute to prepare Statement about RSO activities and status (till March 31, 2010).
5. to charge working group to agree Statement about RSO activities and to establish mechanism for satellite data receiving through UN-SPIDER programme and distribution data related products within interested ministries and agencies.
